It's an extremely simple-looking work-style jacket. There is also a vest and pants available so you can wear it as a three-piece set, but today I will only be introducing the jacket.
It's so simple you might ask, "What's so great about it?" But there are a few reasons why I fell in love with this jacket.

First of all, it has a casual style, yet has the minimum details of a jacket.
Three buttons, notch lapels, flower hole.
It may be difficult to wear at a formal occasion, but if you're going to a more casual setting, you can look decent with details like this. Isn't this one of the most important points for adult men when choosing clothes?

Next, it has a loose, relaxed fit that is typical of workwear. The shoulder width and chest width are wide, and as you can see, the sleeve width is also generous and roomy.
One important point here is that the length is not too long. When wearing a jacket in a larger size, the length will inevitably be too long and the balance will be thrown off. Since it is workwear, it is set to be slightly shorter.

The fabric is also a key feature.
Made from cotton moleskin. This fabric, named after its surface that resembles mole skin, has long been used in workwear due to its high durability.
The cotton is woven thickly and densely, and the surface is lightly brushed to create a unique smoothness that gives it an elegant feel. In addition, the brushed finish gives it excellent heat retention, meaning it can be worn for a long period of time in Japan's current climate.
Moleskin is an excellent fabric that is perfect for Japan's winters, as the climate becomes warmer.

There is a diagonally cut pocket on the left bodice and an inner pocket on the right bodice. Having pockets on both chests would give it a strong workwear feel, but by only having one visible on the left bodice, this is somewhat toned down, which is another attractive feature.
The buttons are LYBRO's standard flat metal buttons, which I think are the perfect match for the fabric.

I tried wearing it with the military pants and chambray shirt, which are my three sacred treasures mentioned at the beginning.
At first, I thought size 56 was a little too big, but I personally prefer this size. I think I'll be wearing a style like this a lot this fall. It's not much different from usual, though lol.
For example, compared to the navy MALLORY JACKET, the silhouette is completely different, so even though they're the same type of garment, they can completely change the look. You can layer it with anything underneath, like sweatshirts, hoodies, and knits, so it's sure to be a versatile piece.

I tried wearing the green one as a set with pants. It's labeled green, but the colour is more like khaki. Although I'm a fan of navy, this colour is also nice.
The WORK SUIT TROUSERS - MOLESKIN, which are made from the same material, aren't particularly wide pants, so I went down one size from the navy styling to balance it out.
If you stand the collar up, it gives off a more casual vibe, so it might be worth trying depending on your mood.
