The book features extensive interviews covering Nigel Cabourn's life from childhood to the present, including his time in Newcastle and his travels to London, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, and Japan.
It also highlights his early, now-rare designs and Limited Edition Collections inspired by the stories of his historical heroes. Additionally, it showcases around 250 selected pieces from his vast collection of approximately 4,000 vintage garments accumulated over 40 years.

Nigel Cabourn Profile
- 1949: Born in Lincolnshire, England
- 1967: Attends Newcastle Polytechnic (now Northumbria University)
- 1969: Establishes his own company, Cricket Clothing Ltd while still a student
- 1973: Begins exporting products abroad under his Cricket label
- 1984: Changes the brand name to Nigel Cabourn (it was changed to this name in Japan due to trademark issues)
- 1996: Opens the first UK flagship store in Covent Garden, London
- 2003: In honour of the 50th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary's first ascent of Everest, Nigel announces a Limited Edition Collection with only 50 pieces made in each style
- 2009: Opens Nigel Cabourn THE ARMY GYM, the world's only flagship store, in Nakameguro, Tokyo
